Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-29

This policy explains how croweo uses cookies and similar technologies. The short version: we set no advertising or tracking cookies by default, our analytics is cookieless, and the only thing stored on your device is a small flag that records your own consent choice.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They are used for logins, preferences, and advertising/tracking.

2. Cookies we use

Category What Where it lives
Functional consent flag Records whether you accepted or declined optional cookies Your browser (localStorage)
Cookieless analytics Plausible -- counts page views and tool events, identifies nobody Server-side, no cookie
Advertising (only with consent) If ads are enabled on the live site, ad vendors may set cookies only after you click "Accept" Your browser

We do not use essential tracking cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or fingerprinting.

3. How your choice is recorded

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies (advertising, if any). Your choice is stored only in your browser's localStorage -- it is not sent to us or to any third party. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser storage; the banner will then reappear.

4. Managing cookies

You can control cookies in your browser settings, block storage per site, or use private browsing. Because our tools are client-side, blocking cookies or storage does not affect whether your images are uploaded -- they never are.
