What is image cropper?

Frequently asked questions
Can I crop to passport photo dimensions?
Yes. Use the Passport 35×45 preset to get the standard 35:45 aspect ratio, then resize to the required pixel size.
Is cropping lossy?
Cropping itself is lossless — we simply cut the image. Re-encoding to a lossy format like JPG is what can reduce quality, so we default to PNG.
How do I crop without changing the ratio?
Choose a ratio preset and the selection box will stay locked to that shape.
